there are two types of eyes worthy of note
wolves eyes
and sheep
the sheep look like deer in a spotlight
frozen, thinking themselves already dead
floating into the light
it sickens me to see the deer's eye in my brother

the wolves eyes frighten me
they display nothing but hunger
unquenchable thirst for blood
to see the wolves eyes in your brother
is to be in a dangerous place

to have the wolves eyes
is to understand nature
