Proximal

too close for comfort.
gimmie some room.
you make me into someone else.
what do I do to you?

you bring out my worst,
my chilling blood thirst.
make me burn inside,
but you know where I hide.

you're too close.

i see you've found another,
what a surprise, it is my brother.
doing to him, what you did to me.
is he blind as I was, or can he already see?

escape the mind rape.
remember your self.
do what you want,
but i fear for your health.

too close, you're in my home.
now i long, to feel alone.
or safe, secure, no impending threat.
is it all in my head? I'll take that bet.

time for a change

Before one must die,
we could simply fly,
to go out and try.
Without being so high.

if again our paths cross,
we'll have something to toss,
instead of our lunch,
for an unsettling hunch.

proximal enemy
you used to be a friend to me
now you're waiting for the end to be
if you don't change, you're sure to see,
the evil that's inside of me.

Dive in

Head first. All at once. The shock is more intense, but less prolonged. We know we will get cold, discomforted. And we know we can't avoid it. Why do we torture ourselves by drawing it out? Get it over and done with, and move on. Maybe i know this better than i think, and that's why i can't remember most of the last 2 years. More likely I can't remember because i did nothing worth remembering. Sat around, numbing myself to the redundent hell that my life had, has, become. I must release the thoughts of inner turmoil.

Do we create a struggle when none exists? Can we acheive god-like powers through mind-altering substances? Are you all characters in my dream? Are we all characters in a great dream? In a sense, i believe yes. We are responsible for keeping the dream alive. With no effort, we fall into a routine, become ill and die. If we want the dream to continue, we must use our imaginations to direct our restlessness towards productive use of our time. Science for exploration and healing as opposed to imprisonment and war. Art that expresses the full spectrum of human emotion. Business to provide a service as opposed to making money.

It's a crazy world we live in, and if you don't crazy yourself along with it, you'll get left behind.
