One eye open. One eye closed.
One side protected.
One side exposed.

Talk outta your ass,
Bullshit with your mouth.
When one needle points North,
The other's pointing South.

Go or stay.
Lead or follow.
The gift of choice,
Can be hard to swallow.

Do what you will,
Or do what you should?
When you look back on your life,
Isn't it all good?

The hard things to go through,
Make great stories to tell.
But time spent just listening,
Can be good as well.
